Action Items

  • ODE issues 372 and 370

    • Sudhakar, Tony and Jayashree discussed these issues with Wyoming team and this week a CARMA developer has started working on them.

    • Tony also cleaned up lingering issues that have been addressed and approved in the ODE issue list.

  • Architecture Diagram Feedback

    • Once Sam and Billy have reviewed, Deb would like to update the PCB link to include a link to the architecture and include the diagrams in the ATCMTD presentation.

    • Ariel has asked the OSS4ITS team to put together a presentation for the upcoming ATCMTD Cohort meeting on June 1st to go over the project, whey we decided to go with it, come of issues we encountered, so that the cohort members can see how it fits in with the National ITS architecture.

Project Status

  • CARMA

    • Currently working on a plan to get back into the lab for testing.

    • Working on a task order modification to stand up a research data cloud that would feed into SDC.

  • V2X Hub

    • Final revised report has been submitted addressing the comments on some of the figures in the document.

  • ODE

    • Supporting ongoing issues. There are three open issues being addressed.

  • SDC

    • Tony provided an overview of an example use case for the DOT ECS migration. The team recently deployed a method for automated export of derived data. A data analyst can derive data with a TIM message (e.g., road closure) and gather BSMs around that geofence, and create an automated export for data analysts to push that data. In addition, the ECS migration is providing some constraints to security; they are checking with USDOT and ECS team to figure out. There may be additional constraints with private cloud vs. public cloud. We will know more details in August.

Questions/Discussion

  • Has John heard anything from Taylor about returning to the lab for testing? We are planning to start trickling in on June 1st and it will impact the next 2-3 sprints before returning to full strength.

  • Deb would like to put the Mapping Data project testing on the STOL calendar. Tony mentioned the testing will happen most likely late June to early July, and the week of July 6 will be good. The technical implementation is wrapping up soon. They will need light duty vehicles, GPS, etc. If they need to integrate with V2X Hub, then may need more items before the testing can happen. Deb is pushing for funding for this testing to happen – the money for this will be under the OSS4ITS umbrella, and Ariel is very interested in this demo. The big items to test are – ASN.1 encoder/decoder and propagation from/to vehicles. She and Tony will discuss when he is ready with the plan.
