V2X Hub/ODE updates

• The team completed Sprint 14. The focus of this sprint was release testing for V2X Hub. We finished release testing and deployed the new release 6.0 for V2X Hub end of July.

• We are currently working on Sprint 15 tasks and focusing on the OSS4ITS reference implementation testing. Hoping to wrap up this testing and perform the demo at TFHRC on Aug 20. SDC connection issues are resolved. OSS4ITS team will be testing it this week and next week.

• ODE 1.2.2 released on 8/5/21.

WYDOT/CDOT updates

• ODE – finished testing ODE 1.2.2 branch which has the updated Java 11 version. It also has some changes and additional support for MAP and SPaT messages.

CARMA updates

• CARMA Release 3.7.0 is available on Github. It has features like basic travel, platooning, speed advisory received from CARMA Cloud + vehicle obeying the speed limit and features for CARMA vehicle to receive a SPaT message.

• CARMA team is performing integration testing currently, and will start doing verification testing next week. They will be testing the work zone use case with a CARMA vehicle, with 2 lane road, and 1 lane closed for work zone area. There will be a signal controller at each end alternating traffic (instead of using flaggers).

• The team is also working on TSMO use case with the CARMA vehicle navigating a 4-way stop and interacting with CARMA Streets which will inform the vehicles when they should be approaching the intersection.

• Additionally the team is also working on CARMA freight stories for port drayage use case, with the CARMA CMV’s arriving at the port and staging area to pick up and drop off cargo.

• The team also has a demo for OSS4ITS reference implementation coming up next week, and have testing to perform for work zones and other projects.

SDC updates

• Lot of work underway for security and POAMs.

• Also held an executive briefing for SDC and CAB meeting.

• Onboarding 3 BTS teams and one more user for ARDS.
