| V2X Hub updates | | The team has started the work on security updates for V2X Hub (secure boot, SCMS enrollment, signing of messages). We are looking into adding an HSM and 1609.2 libraries. There will be 4 pieces of hardware configured. We will be testing them using our code base and Dev SCMS certificates. We will put in the higher capabilities later on. These hardware are Raspberry PI’s with basic ARM configuration. We will also be doing background testing and moving the Alpine images for docker and for more security and hardening. We are also cleaning up passwords etc. Using software HSM initially and then hardware HSM later. For longer term, we will be adding 1609.2.1 to this test. We are working with Qualcomm and ISS library sets, and have niche single board computers that will run Docker images. We may be able to put other software on the box like CARMA etc. This joint effort is currently being performed by Tony, ISS, V2X Hub teams, It will not have cellular V2X but will be like a higher powered RSU. Building 2 versions , with GPU and can hook a camera to do human recognition. Vendors will provide roadside sensors, some of them will do target recognition.
